Rescue from Height for Scaffolders

Course Specification

Duration: 1 ½ Days

Attendees:

Must be an experienced Scaffolder with current scaffolding certificates. All attendees will be expected to perform practical exercises at height over the course of the training.

Objectives:

The objective of the program is for participants to gain practical skills and understanding of how to rescue a scaffolder suspended at height in their personal fall protection equipment.

Content:

  • Rescue system components
  • Preventing falls from scaffolding
  • Formulating a rescue plan
  • Pre-use inspection.
  • Harness fitting.
  • Practical rescue scenarios using simple techniques. Rescue at height competency assessment.
  • SG4 and SG19 compliant

Note: All attendees must be in possession of current CISRS scaffolding certification. Attendees may use their own personal fall protection equipment but it must have been inspected by a competent person within the previous three months. The course instructor will also inspect harnesses and lanyards before the practical session.

Qualification / Certification: Successful delegates will receive an Attendance Certificate from TTI
